PioneerRx Pharmacy Software in Irving, Tx is seeking candidates for the position of Hardware Installer/Software Trainer. This position requires nation-wide travel (Monday-Friday) 34-40 weeks out of the year with the remaining weeks working in-house. All applicants must have a willingness to learn new concepts, provide excellent customer service, and support a variety of applications and hardware. This position installs hardware in retail pharmacy environments and trains the pharmacy on how to use the software, which includes:

  • Configuring/Installing printers, workstations, servers, and any extra equipment the pharmacy may have.
  • Providing customized training to the pharmacy to understand all applications and functions of the software.
  • Troubleshooting any issues/concerns that may arise during the installation process.
  • Acting as a pharmacy consultant by educating and improving productivity to allow proper execution of their business.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous IT and Networking experience preferred
  • Superior communication skills in working with technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to perform with little direct supervision
  • Proficient in using Windows operating system
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
