Civils Inspection Engineer

Salary: Basic from £34,000 – £37,000 , Benefits

Location:Tiverton, Devon

A growing Inspection consultancy are currently recruiting for a Civils Inspection Engineer to cover a patch between Bristol and Plymouth. Based out of offices in Tiverton, you will be required to take the lead site role on a variety of structural inspections and testing projects. The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the technical compliance of site works are completed and for ensuring the safe systems of work in place for each task are followed when on site. Skills required for an Civils Inspection Engineer:

• Ideally, you will hold a degree within Civil Engineering or a associated discipline.
• Experience in examination / inspection and reporting.
• IRATA Level 1 (Rope Access) or HSE Part III (Diving) or Confined Space Entry (NVQ).
• Knowledge or awareness of industry standard concrete testing techniques as well as material properties.
• Worked on projects previously.
• Good communication and computer skills.
