Pinterest Hiring for Learning Platform Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

The Learning & Development Operations team is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as the Learning Platform Specialist to help us enable Pinterest’s culture of continuous learning. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing microsites and overseeing the delivery and maintenance of our learning platform, content, assets and other resources used for instructional functions. The Learning Platform Specialist will also support Learning and Development Partners and Learners alike by responding to and resolving troubleshooting, solutioning and data analytics requests.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain all aspects of day-to-day management and structure of the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Respond to and resolve troubleshooting, solutioning and data analytics requests via Zendesk.
• Write and maintain technical procedures and policy documentation to ensure the security and integrity of the LMS.
• Create and manage overall course programs and structures based on stakeholder requirements.
• Perform various administrative functions in support of company-wide training events and eLearning programs including event creation, content management, data collection and reporting and more.
• Define and articulate data requirements to IT partners for dashboard creation.
• Occasional dashboard creation / data visualization for L&D Programs (using Tableau and similar).
• Improve existing and create new processes and automations to accelerate project workflows.
• Ensure QA practices are consistent, and quality standards are consistently met across all LMS technology projects.
• Lead the knowledge management of Learning & Development’s LMS and internal documentation Assist in the auditing and management of content in the LMS.
• Collaborate with our L&D Partners and L&D Ops Specialists to create, edit, and maintain content resources for company-wide Learning programs, making this information more searchable, discoverable, and accessible to Learners..
• Partner with Learning & Development Partner and Learning Experience Designer to collaborate on the best design and display of information about a course or resource, how to link to assets, etc.
• Partner with the People Tech team to enhance and scale the LMS platform as we grow.

What we’re looking for:

• PinFlex estimated in-office frequency is 1x per quarter. (e.g. Our PinFlex future of work philosophy requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration approximately 1x per quarter). • 2+ years of internal Learning & Development experience.
• Progressive experience using Learning Management System (Intellum/Exceed preferred) as an administrator or instructional designer with a strong knowledge of eLearning standards and frontend languages like HTML/CSS .
• Experience using ticketing/knowledge systems for HR (e.g. Zendesk).
• Successful record of building effective learning experiences in the form of self-paced eLearning curriculums, assessments, infographics, etc.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools including Evolve, Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Captivate.
• Passion for consistency, standards, and strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
• Adequate knowledge of the Google Suite and other tools to plan and coordinate events across multiple constituents
• Strategic prioritization of work.
• Proactive ownership of solutions and end-to-end processes.
• Previous success driving engagement with a large-scale customer audience through online training program design and delivery is preferred.
• Project Management experience is a nice-to-have.
