We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at our South Houston location!

Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the facility
• Greeting our awesome patients with a friendly smile; exhibit outstanding customer service and etiquette with all staff
• Check the mailbox daily, responding to client and vendor messages and correspondence
• Prepare and maintain patients’ charts with accurate record keeping and securing client information according to HIPPA guidelines
• Verify insurance information, obtaining pre-authorizations and payment(s)
• Coordinate patient referrals, registration, and scheduling
• Enforce patient compliance to scheduled appointments
• Standard maintenance of the facility
• Maintain the Electronic Health/Medical Records System
• Other responsibilities as required

Required Experience and Skills:

• Punctual

• High degree of professionalism
• 2 years – customer service
• 2 years – medical terminology
• Ability to type 35 wpm
• 2 years – Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel / Google Suite)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Bilingual
• 5 years – customer service
• 5 years – medical terminology
• 5 years – Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel / Google Suite)
• Proven healthcare administrative experience; physical therapy and/or rehabilitation facility a bonus

Hours of Operation: Monday, 8 am – 1 pm, and Tuesday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm

Compensation: Starting at $36,500, salary can be increased based on experience.
