Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $70,000

Hours: Mon-Fri

Reports To: Controller

Job Duties:

· Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes, and payroll/benefits

· Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

· Assist with yearly annual review activities

· Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

· Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

· Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

· Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

· 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role

· Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization

· Experience with financial systems and Microsoft Excel

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
