JOB TITLE: Accounting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Pinnacle Global Network is a premier business coaching company and industry leader based in Encinitas, CA. We are continuing to grow at a rapid pace and are looking for an experienced, skillful Accounting Manager to join our fantastic team! The Accounting Manager will work remotely, report to our CFO and will perform a diverse set of responsibilities including the preparation of financial reports, general bookkeeping, account reconciliations, AP and AR management including collections, maintaining a general ledger, working with our CPA to prepare tax returns, and other duties as they are assigned. This position does not manage staff, personally handles all Accounting processes, and will work directly with CFO and owners.

Our ideal candidate will be confident and outgoing, professional, resourceful, organized, and work with the highest level of integrity. Must reside in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone. This is a hybrid position (mainly remote). Salary range $85,000 – 95,000 annually.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completing the month end close process to ensure strict deadlines and milestones are met
• Preparing monthly financial analysis and commentary for CFO and owners
• Preparing recurring and event based analysis (e.g. profitability/gross margin analysis, cost-volume mix, product mix)
• Booking staff payroll and benefits related journal entries and reconciling all payroll and benefits related balance sheet accounts
• Calculating and booking monthly corporate allocations
• Reviewing and correcting all journal entries
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly reporting to management
• Executing full closing procedures including AP close process so that all tasks are completed timely and accurately, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Conducting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Run Payroll through QuickBooks
• Ensure the company’s internal control standards, processes and documentation are followed monthly
• Make recommendations on improving the overall process in collaboration with PGN team members and management
• May assist with collections of unpaid client billing
• Handles all Accounting process and does not manage staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zones
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast-paced and high growth environment
• Must have a strong understanding of an accounting month end close process
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics highly desired
• Must possess advance Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create logic formulas and pivot tables with ease
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and problem solving required
• Effective communicator
• Skilled at managing processes, ability to coordinate and prioritize
• Must be analytical and detail oriented in all work activities
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
