Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Pink Lily Fulfillment Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Summary

Come join one of the fastest-growing online retailers in the country! Pink Lily is in search of a qualified Accounting Manager to add to our team to help with our continued success. This person will assist the Director of Finance with a variety of tasks within the Finance Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with month-end closing obligations including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Responsible for assisting with month-end reporting package.
• Assist with developing daily and weekly financial update reports for management.
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and submit wire transfers for applicable vendors.
• Responsible for assisting with the non-inventory purchasing and order processing as needed.
• Complete coding of banking transaction in QuickBooks.
• Assist Staff Accountant with her routine tasks as needed.
• Assist Director of Finance with creating and rolling out standard accounting policies including a focus on inventory management, asset management, credit card expense reporting and purchasing procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of year-end compliance forms and annual review and tax return preparation.
• Assist with preparation of annual budget and monthly forecasting.
• Assist with other finance tasks, as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Public accounting experience preferred. CPA license a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• An ability to multitask / work on several projects at once.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently.
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and a passion to learn and grow.
• Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Efficient with QuickBooks a plus.
