Job Summary

A Talent Acquisition Specialist is a professional responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a company’s long-term goals.

They factor into this process that people play a critical role in our advanced manufacturing operations and will be key players of success going forward.

This person has a strong sales-type personality (they are ‘selling’ candidates on the great opportunity of employment at Pindel Global Precision) and is a ‘hunter’ who will find and cultivate candidates in both known and lesser-accessed candidate pools.

The role can be remote or on-site.

This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.

Responsibilities include

• Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Determining selection criteria.
• Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks.) and through direct outreach to key sources and ‘watering holes’ of talent : schools, training programs, organizations.
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and interviews
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity)
• Vetting candidates using data and professional skills
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
• Lead employer branding initiatives
• Organize and attend (if available, otherwise coordinate for other to attend) job fairs and recruitment events
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates; ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

Requirements

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) – ours is the recruiting module within our HR system (Paylocity)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
• Due to our certifications to make defense- and aerospace-related parts, this person (and all employees of Pindel Global Precision) must be a US citizen or Green Card holder

Salary Description

$18-$25 / hour
