Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include ensuring the site has an established headcount in place by department, proactively review agency labour requirements and ongoing recruitment needs with the site management team, confidently advise and support site Management team on all aspects relating Disciplinary, employment Law, Grievance, performance management, Health & safety and recognition supporting an ethical culture, company standards and legislation.
Our Ideal candidate will proactively and enthusiastically drive engagement through generating and communicating site activities and site success as well as implementing and communicating company initiatives and success. The maintenance and regular updates on all HR systems such as Resource link, Open Options, Papaya, and SAP with accurate up to date information. This role will proactively ensure HR documentation is compliant and the function and site is fully prepared to successfully participate and engage in any audit process. The monitoring of short/long term absence, turnover, and stability. Support and advise site management on OH matters. Making recommendations and follow through with site Occupational health nurse ensuring the employees are fully supported and the delivery on site is not impacted
You will be CIPD qualified or studying towards this. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be desirable as well as up to date knowledge of employment law. Employee relations knowledge and experience will be of advantage, providing advice in relation to performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance. You must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly open nature and a genuine desire to be of assistance to site management team and employees. Strong numerical and written skills are also a must. Presentation skills and report writing are desirable. You must have strong administration skills, with a high knowledge of Microsoft office and a competent user of HR systems preferably Resource link, Open Options, and SAP.
