Pickstock Telford have an exciting opportunity for an AD Plant and Maintenance Assistant reporting to the AD and Effluent Manager, you will be reliable and hardworking. This is a hands-on role working with agricultural machinery. Some computer work is also required as part of the role.

Responsibilities will include but are not subject to:

• Supporting the AD and Effluent Manager with the day to day running of the AD and Effluent plant
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repair work
• Telehandler work, loading of feed stock.
• Assisting and monitoring of contractors
• Monitoring and responding to out of hours alarms on a rotational basis.
• Completing daily checks, logbooks, records and sampling
• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and work colleagues by adhering to H&S polices
• Site maintenance (ensuring that the site is clean and tidy)
• Daily reporting
• Daily checks
• Assisting with reports on the AD Plant

Key Attributes, Knowledge & Skills

• Maintenance experience and knowledge of anaerobic digestion and/or waste treatment essential
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Can-do attitude
• Telehandler licence desirable but not essential
• Health and Safety focus
• Self-motivated and able to direct own work.
• A strong work ethic
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
