The Fulfillment Specialist fulfills orders, including order entry and administration, as well as oversees related activities of third-party vendors to ensure orders flow effectively through systems and processes in accordance with the organization’s customer service standards. In addition to, logistical responsibilities outlined in the core duties.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of PIC Customers effectively executing:

o Customer contact

o Management of customer portfolio

o Resolution of customer concerns

· Receive and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction

· Position and promote products and service based on customer needs

· Communicate all customer-related issues within respective account portfolio to Account Managers, as well as Health Assurance and Production when necessary.

· Process adjustments/credits to customer accounts with Finance

· Work closely with Inventory Management, Transport and Scheduling to optimize business logistics with customer needs

· Execute pre-delivery calls with customers and veterinarians for animal shipments

· Work closely with Invoicing to insure correct pricing and billing is applied to all transactions

· Work closely with account managers and finance to insure royalty numbers and payments are received in a timely manner

· Assure operational compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

· Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical/functional experience and judgment and precedents

· Customer service & dispatch functions as it relates to the day to day operations of the transport team. This includes, but is not limited to managing phone call and email communications from both internal and external partners (customer service, sales, contract suppliers, customer delivery locations)

· System operations in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including load creation, sales order movement & updates, routine building & planning, or any other systemically driven function that surrounds shipment of breeding stock or market hauls

· Schedule and report review to ensure proper information is communicated to source farms, customers, and drivers as it relates to the shipment of breeding stock and market hauls

Qualifications

· University degree preferred; high school diploma required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service in a swine or agriculture related business

· Bilingual in both English and French

· Applicable experience in other operational areas, particularly production and transportation

· Proven experience of improving job processes and efficiencies with innovation and creativity

· Must be a customer-focused team player with problem solving abilities.

· Good working knowledge of pig production and biosecurity issues

· Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts and fast-paced environment

· Work requires continual attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required

· Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self-directed/managed work environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

· Ability to travel approximately 5-10%

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to $70,000.00 per year
