Phyton Advisors Hiring for Securitized Products Middle Office at New York, NY Full Time

The Securitized Products Middle Office Specialist will be responsible for managing data flows from various internal teams and external clients, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to funding processes. The candidate will collaborate with front office personnel, risk, legal, and outside clients to control risks associated with funding and support the securitized product banking group and whole loan trading desk. Proficiency in Excel and prior exposure to reconciliation processing are essential for this role. While knowledge of the residential mortgage industry is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support the securitized product banking group and the whole loan trading desk.

• Evaluate new whole loan collateral to ensure compliance with facility concentration and risk limits.

• Coordinate with various business groups to obtain necessary approvals for executing the final funding process.

Preferred Familiarity:

** High-volume mortgage products in the Whole Loan space:

• RTL (Residential Transition Loans) / ‘Fix and Flip’

• Non QM (Non-Qualified Mortgage)

• NPL/RPL (Non-Performing / Re-performing Loans)

• SBC (Small Balance Commercial)

• REO (Real Estate Owned Assets)

  ** Exposure to and knowledge of:

  • Servicer remittance processing
  • Loan Repurchase/EPD identification and processing
  • Reconciliations

  ** Knowledge of LMS (Loan Management Platform), MERS application, and Excel.
