Job duties:

Design, develop, power on, debug and support silicon-related UEFI firmware for next generation Intel server computers.

Work closely with team members and other engineering teams within Phoenix to develop customizable and secure firmware for Intel x86 server SoCs, chipsets & processors.

Integrate silicon reference code into the Phoenix UEFI firmware code.

Power on new silicon products.

Debug hardware and firmware issues.

Support bug and security fixes through a product’s lifecycle.

Develop original code and solutions for customization and value-add features.

Work closely with internal engineers from silicon, core, QA and customer teams.

Minimum Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, Firmware Engineering, or related occupation.

Position also requires at least 3 years of experience in the following skills:

1. Programming in C;

2. Software debugging;

3. Computer hardware and architecture;

4. Server computer technologies;

5. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware development.
