As a market leader and FTSE 100 organisation, we understand that our scale and expertise means that we have a key role to play for our customers, colleagues and our communities to help as many people as possible secure a life of possibilities. We are tackling key environmental and social issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050 – but we’re not done yet.
We’ve seen huge growth and change, and this means there is enormous opportunity for our 8,000 colleagues to grow alongside us.
We want to hire the whole version of you.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and safe at work, and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Everyone is valued at Phoenix regardless of age, gender identity, neurodiversity, race, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic background or anything else. If you need any help or adjustments to the recruitment process due to health, disability or anything else, please let us know so we can help you to be the best version of yourself.
The role
We have work to do to build our brand and become an employer of choice. Our vision is that Phoenix will be the best place that any of us have ever worked and Phoenix is investing in Talent Acquisition to help make that vision a reality.
This role will support our Open division. Open is centred on developing new propositions that meet customer needs across the life savings cycle; broadening the focus of our business so that we can help more customers as they journey to and through retirement. Business units include; Pensions & Savings and Retirement solutions. The main brands in Open are Standard Life and Sunlife.
As we grow, so will the opportunity to make real change, develop your career and shape how we do things in recruitment. We’re looking for someone who is at the Senior Recruiter/Senior TA Partner level so if you have experience in recruiting agency-side or in-house , we’d love to hear from you.
You will partner with your business areas as the recruitment expert. You will manage the recruitment experience from pipelining and req approval through to verbal offer, with a focus on direct sourcing. Typically these roles are across finance, corporate functions, marketing, analytics and customer. We’re hiring a number of TA roles and so we’ll talk to you about the types of vacancies you will manage during the recruitment process and find the right match for your experience and ambition.
As a Senior TAP, you will guide and mentor our TAPs. Everyone in the TA team has exposure to projects that offer development and spark their passion across process improvement, employer brand and more.
We want to be the leader in hiring the very best talent and the opportunity to shape this role is real.
What are we looking for?
You’ll thrive in this role if you relish a challenge and are prepared to help us build and shape the team. We’re hiring across multiple levels from recruiter to senior lead. Ideally you’ll have experience in financial services, however we will consider an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who is eager to learn and can pick up the industry quickly!
You’ll be someone who enjoys building relationships and coaching and supporting hiring teams. Providing an incredible hiring manager and candidate experience is your passion and you will bring ideas to the table in your own way.
We’re deliberately keeping our advert as open as possible as we’re more interested in getting to know you. If you have experience in recruitment – even if you aren’t actively looking – talk to us anyway.
Why choose us?
Bring your ‘whole self’, skills and dedication to the Phoenix Group and we’ll recognise your effort, support your development and help to drive your ambition. We’ll ensure you’re rewarded for your contribution with a competitive package that includes an attractive pension, annual bonus potential, private medical insurance, generous holiday entitlement, enhanced maternity and adoption leave and a range of other financial services and lifestyle flexible benefits.
Sound good? If you are ready to help us make Phoenix the best place you’ve ever worked, we’d love to hear from you.
