The role

This role will play a critical leadership role as we build our TA function. Reporting to the Group Head of TA, you will partner with one of our major business units, sitting as part of their HR leadership team and leading a team of recruiters. There is opportunity to make real change shape how we do things in recruitment as we embark on the transformation of the team.
You will be the Head of TA for our Open business, operating under the Standard Life brand. The team is growing, generating revenue for Phoenix via four different business units. Roles in Open typically cover marketing, financial services and some difficult to fill and niche roles, and so it’s important that you have some recruitment leadership experience within the financial services arena.

You’ll be someone who enjoys building relationships, providing recruitment leadership and guidance to your business units. You will be confident working with senior stakeholders, understanding future requirements and building a data driven hiring strategy. Providing an incredible hiring manager and candidate experience is your passion and you will bring ideas to the table in your own way.
You will manage a select number of senior vacancies and so experience hiring within financial services is critical, either from an agency or in-house background.
