In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
As an Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) Project Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of implementation, specializing in radiology and cardiology information technology (IT) products. You will provide the highest level of customer satisfaction while ensuring each project is on time and on budget. This role serves as the key point of contact for project management, customer sign-off, and revenue recognition. You will provide support for customers and sales specialists, as well as interfacing with other stakeholders (i.e. service, logistics, and manufacturing).

You are responsible for
Overseeing execution and completion of IT solutions projects or project portfolio.
Managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Overseeing performance of the installation/implementation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software system, or system integration project/engagement.
Providing labor planning and coordination of activities between the external customer and internal stakeholders.
Monitoring project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue.
Assigning and leading teams to ensure efficient operation of projects.
Providing guidance to colleagues within the latitude of established company policies.
Recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that affect immediate organizations.
Analyzing and evaluating situations and/or data; providing recommendations on a variety of topics to facilitate a positive customer outcome, including an understanding of the informatic product lines.
Following processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Acting as a single point of contact to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
Developing and administering project schedules and system performance requirements.
Frequently interacting cross-functionally, including other divisions or business units.
Responsible for a functional area and may not have any subordinate employees.
Serving as a mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to customers.
Working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
Delivering on multiple informatics products using well-defined processes and industry practices.
Providing guidance to management on methodology and practice for the business with a focus on continuous improvement.
You are part of
The Canada Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) organization, reporting to the EDI Leader. EDI is part of the Philips Precision Diagnosis business cluster. It is the key enabler of our company-wide approach to transform towards a Healthcare Informatics solutions company. Our business categories provide specialized software solutions and long-term partnerships to improve performance, service lines and collaboration across departments; within a medical enterprise, across regions or an entire country.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Bilingual capabilities in English and French; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in business or related industry discipline and 8+ years of related experience and/or equivalent related experience/education
Healthcare IT background is required (knowledge of radiology and/or cardiology PACS and related information systems highly preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) or above PMI Certification highly preferred
Working knowledge of medical imaging systems (display hardware and software)
Working knowledge of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standards
Advanced knowledge of various network protocols
Proficiency in creating procedures and technical documentation
Ability to provide leadership and guidance to peers and customers
Advanced MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project)
Advanced time management, organization, analytical, problem-solving, and listening skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization across multiple remote locations/departments with management and individuals of various levels and backgrounds
