Philadelphia School Hiring for ASEP TEACHER at United States Full Time

Position Summary: This individual will work on a daily basis offering teacher coverage for homeroom and special area subjects, such as Music, Art, Spanish, and Physical Education. This individual will also accompany classes to our outdoor education center. The teacher must be prepared to offer developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for all students from preschool to grade 8.

Qualifications sought: We seek to hire an experienced individual who has strong classroom management and communication skills, as well as a flexible approach to teaching. We expect all of our teachers to build respectful and supportive relationships with their students, to participate in school-wide initiatives, and to work closely with his/her supervisor to develop his/her craft. In addition, were looking for someone who has interests and or experience in diversity, Growth Mindset, Responsive Classroom, reading and writing workshop approach to teaching literacy, constructivist math instruction, and environmental education.

Educational background: A minimum of a bachelors degree, with an education degree preferred.
