Phantom Screens Hiring for Software Developer at Abbotsford, BC Full Time

We are looking to hire experienced Software Developer to become an integral part of our team!, to create high quality code for customer facing applications – including creating and maintaining web-based systems and interfaces, RESTful APIs and integration components between various custom, third party and enterprise systems and more! The experienced Software Developer will contribute towards the ongoing development and improvement of a wide variety of systems and processes that are essential to supporting key departmental and corporate business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop web-based applications and interfaces in a full-stack environment.
• Use best software development practices and appropriate design patterns to write well designed and testable code using source code control (GIT).
• Write maintainable, self-documenting code as well as creating and maintaining the necessary software documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with an MVC frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, Laravel, or Node.js
• Experience working on HTML5, CSS3 including responsive UI development (Bootstrap).
• Familiarity with building single page apps using JavaScript front end frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, or Vue.js
• 5+ years of experience in developing software with several object-oriented languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
• A minimum of two years post-secondary education in Computer Information Technology & Systems or 5+ years of experience in a development role.
