PHA USA Hiring for Accounting Assistant Job at Auburn Hills, MI Full Time

Responsibilities:

Process and record routine transactions according to established policies and procedures.

Reconcile accounts, maintain files, and perform analyses.

Submit invoices to customers and reconcile incoming payments.

Match vendor invoices with documents of goods received.

Assist with month-end close and analyses as directed.

Assist with biweekly timecards and preparation of payroll.

Assist with maintaining employee files.

Resolve outstanding A/P and A/R discrepancies in a timely manner by researching data and providing appropriate recommendations.

Perform other duties and analyses as assigned.

Essential Skillset and Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc)
• High degree of accuracy is critical
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prepare financial statement
• Prepare monthly report
• Tax compliance work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
