PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Sustainment Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Orlando, FL.

This is an initial 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity, and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description :

The candidate will coordinate the planning and execution of integration projects across Sustainment.

The projects will vary between the development of supporting tools, coordinating / executing DR targets, workforce planning, ing metrics, Earned Value Excellence, organizational change / maturation, and affordability initiatives.

The candidate will analyze, coordinate, and manage Sustainment usage of DRs (Overhead, New Business Funds, IT expenses, and Capital Investments) across Sustainment teams / companies.

A holistic Sustainment DR picture will be developed with recommendations provided to Sustainment leadership for successfully achieving targets.

This position is for a Sustainment Engineer to support the After Market Enterprises (AME) sustainment program support responsible for integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts and specifications.

Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.

Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost / risk, and supportability.

s directly to the Sustainment Operations Depot Lead under the LSE AME contracts.

Candidate will interface with multiple disciplines daily and should have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn.

Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment.

Provide technical knowledge in the testing, operation, calibration, and maintenance for the HIMARS and M270 Launchers.

Provide technical guidance, liaison assistance and information pertinent to the evaluation of operational difficulties involving the HIMARS and M270 Launchers and other equipment directly involved with the maintenance and operation of the system

Requirements : US Citizenship

US Citizenship

Must be able to obtain Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience / combined education

Able to execute warehouse tasks that involve lifting items that weigh 40 lbs

Excellent Oral and Written communication skills

Proficiency / experience using Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships

Technical writing experience and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.

Able to operate material handling equipment (pallet stacker, forklift, etc)

Desired Skills :

Knowledge of shipping / receiving / warehousing activities

Experience troubleshooting the M270A1 and / or HIMARS launchers.

Active Secret Clearance

Experience with the government DD250 Process

Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge Procedures

Electric standup pallet stacker or forklift experience

Experience with the Army supply system
