The Talent Acquisition & Mobility department is a dynamic group within the Human Resources organization that focuses on strategically aligning itself with the lines of business to recruit, acquire, motivate, develop, and retain top talent. Position Summary
We are looking for a Recruiter with a proven ability to manage a high volume of requisition and tasks. The position will require someone who takes initiative, is resourceful, and can work with minimal direction while producing results. The successful candidate can hit the ground running, is able to perform full lifecycle recruiting and will maintain excellent relationships with hiring leaders, candidates, and team members to efficiently drive the process and produce results. The successful candidate must also have the ability to adapt to changing priorities while handling a complex recruitment process.
The role is hybrid, working from your remote home office and the Oakland General Office as business needs require.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is: ​
Bay Area Minimum: $ ​75,000
Bay Area Maximum: $​113,000
Job Responsibilities
Provide outstanding client service and lead the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting at PG&E
Serve as a single point of contact to leaders within the Lines of Business for all recruiting matters
Initiate, create, and maintain strong working relationships with supervisors, managers, HR Business Partners, and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
Conduct complete and detailed intake sessions, ensuring an understanding of job duties, responsibilities, and business requirements
Find opportunities to positively impact diversity hiring efforts
Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position
Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring leader interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure complete and accurate audit records
Visit clients to develop a detailed understanding of the department culture and to cultivate relationships
Use effective communication to proactively keep others informed, clearly express ideas and thoughts both verbally and in written form and ensure all communications are timely and appropriate
Qualifications
Minimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development
3 years job-related experience
Experience with SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System
Desired:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of union recruiting processes
Full knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting
SAP experience
Demonstrated ability to manage the recruiting process, hiring leader actions, and candidate expectation, and recruiting timelines.
Knowledge of Federal regulations affecting hiring practices (OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action)
