Reporting to the Cluster TA Lead and is responsible for recruitment in Australia and New Zealand, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for:
recruitment strategies in the country in alignment with the business needs as well as for the sourcing of high quality, diverse, qualified candidates and for all related recruitment processes, rules, tools and procedures in place to support best in class quality recruitment process.
responsible for all legal and compliance adherence in their client area on TA matters
responsible for supporting country Employee Value Proposition for Pfizer in alignment with global strategy and tools to ensure a consistent and relevant message for all activities
The Manager, Talent Acquisition is a single contributor and trusted advisor working closely with Hiring Managers and HR to ensure that the hiring process is consistent with the business goals.
Responsibilities:
Work with all stakeholders within the business and local HR to build a talent acquisition strategy aimed at delivering the resources required by the business across all BUs in the assigned countries
Develop a specific local Employee Value Proposition for their business that is aligned to the global Pfizer EVP
Develop a strong relationship with the clients and maintain close and regular contact with the client to ensure continued alignment and monitor progress to plan
Create Talent Pipelines by proactively creating strategic sourcing techniques
Identify talent acquisition issues and develop corrective action plans quickly and communicate transparently with the business and HR clients
Lead middle and senior level hiring activity for managerial roles
Identify the most appropriate use of University recruitment to the business
Develop and fulfill metrics that support the local business objectives and maintain close monitoring and reporting for the purposes of TA improvements
Continually seek to share best practice across the TA function and proactively makes himself/herself available to support recruitment across the cluster in order to achieve the goals of the wider business as needed
Where requirements of the business go beyond the agreed levels, provide the business with costed options for the business to provide additional funding
Allocate of work within the team including when to use direct sourcing or external search organizations and building a network of external agencies to provide cost effective and efficient support to the business
Develop a culture of ownership and accountability with a high emphasis on client and candidate satisfaction
Participate in projects across the global TA organization
Implement modern tools in TA function as per global plan and local market requirements aligned with business and HR strategies
Effectively integrate diversity into the staffing process to ensure diverse candidate slates
Qualifications:
Master degree in Human Resource, Business, or related discipline
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
Direct sourcing and/or recruitment agency experience is strongly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, selection techniques and diversity recruiting
Fluent English, local language required in certain markets.
Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders
In depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is desired
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A good understanding of technology and innovative solutions within the TA environment
