JOB SUMMARY:

The Corporate Training Manager will design, develop, and deliver training programs supporting the new-hire curriculum, including classroom, virtual, and blended training solutions. Identify and monitor additional training needs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. This will be a hybrid role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.

• Design and develop training catalogs and materials for possible adjustments from the feedback loop, such as operational changes that training could improve.

• Gathers feedback from various ranks and roles through surveys and evaluations of new and existing team members to inform future training needs.

• Apply strong instructional design principles to create impactful training solutions to appeal to adult learning styles.

• Administer tests after completing training courses to determine the effectiveness of training strategies.

• Evaluate and analyze feedback and critical metrics within a specific program or content area to measure the program’s efficacy and make recommendations/ adjustments for continuous improvement.

• Work with a corporate recruiter, attend career fairs, and hire expositions.

• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.

• Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques applicable to the organization and industry.

• Conduct regular meetings with senior management to identify subjects to be addressed or areas needing additional instruction.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:

• Previous customer service experience is desired

• Must have an above-average computer and keyboarding skills and the ability to type at least 40wpm

• Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Must be organized with ideal time management skills

• Self-starter approach to work.

• Must have a team player attitude.

• Ability to multi-task/shift gears easily and accept interruptions as part of the routine.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education, Communications, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 4 years experience providing Customer Service in a Call Center environment, with demonstrated career progression; Supervisory or mentorship experience preferred.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, quantitative skills, and computer skills, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to work and communicate constructively with all levels of the organization (New Hires, HR, Operations, Peers)

• Strong attention to detail, highly proficient in time management, organization, planning, and prioritization.

The Department Head can hire personnel with experience and education, which may vary from the above-listed qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
