Peterborough Limited Hiring for Education Manager Job at Peterborough, England Full Time

Peterborough Limited are recruiting a fixed term, Education Manager to work 37 hours per week, based at the Peterborough Museum.

We are looking for a new Education Manager to oversee the effective delivery and development of Educational Services with Peterborough Limited. They will be responsible for the growth of citywide educational engagement through Peterborough Limited’s Cultural and Leisure services.

Based in Peterborough at the museum, this is a full time, fixed term role finishing at the end of March 2023. In addition to a salary of £27,905 per annum pro rata, we also offer an attractive benefits package including company sick pay, pension scheme, holidays, discounted gym membership and life assurance scheme.

What does the role involve?

• Responsible for developing and maintaining links with schools, partners, stakeholders and other organisations.
• To drive income through providing excellent learning opportunities, thereby ensuring the continued development of the learning offer across Peterborough Limited’s portfolio.
• To develop links to deliver learning opportunities in the city that support educational attainment, teachers CPD and family learning.
• To work with the NHM, real world science community and the Museum and Schools network to develop new and adapted learning programmes.
• To trial the new Arts Award offer to local schools, review and develop results to propose a chargeable but subsidised future Arts Award offer to Schools.
• To support and promote literacy and “The love of reading” by managing and developing the services.
• To increase participation of school age children in Health, Wellbeing and Leisure services provided by Peterborough Limited
• Budget responsibility – annual income expectation of c£150k.
• Have direct line management responsibility for required supporting posts and project teams.
