Pete and Gerry’s Organics, LLC Hiring for nd Shift Shipping and Receiving at Greencastle, PA Full Time

OVERVIEW:

In our Greencastle location, we are responsible for packing and shipping eggs to stores all over the United States. The individual working in Shipping and Receiving will be responsible for communication and support of processing areas in the facility by stocking eggs, pulling finished product to the cooler, rotating stock, load and unload trailers.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• On time punctuality and good attendance
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers
• Support the loader crew throughout the day with stocking of eggs
• Support the line workers and box taper crew by pulling finished product
• Fill partial cases, crax, and dirt pallets
• Rotate inventory with the older dates in front
• Fill out pick tickets correctly with the date, time, jack number, and initials
• Fill out the incoming materials log for eggs, chemicals, or materials each day
• Fill out trailer inspection forms completely and correctly for each load
• Maintain 18” along all exterior walls
• Keep coolers swept, clean, and organized utilizing downtime
• Maintain electric jacks, plugging them in at days end
• Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiency
• any food safety issues to any Supervisor
• Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
• End of day housekeeping and remove all finished product, crax, and dirt’s from processing floor
• Any and all other duties as assigned
• All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be ed to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Previous warehouse experience

· Ability to obtain power equipment certification

· Attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
