1 post is Fixed Term until 30 June 2022 and 1 post is Fixed Term until 31 December 2022.

These Education Additional Support Office (EASO) roles will provide schools with support to deliver high quality inclusive practice that closes achievement, attainment and outcome gaps for children and young people with additional support needs.

Support provided will include training and development opportunities and will involve working in partnership with Primary and Secondary colleagues to build capacity across the local authority.

EASOs will also provide advice and guidance as required relating to curriculum, assessment and planning, positive behaviour management and learning and teaching.

These posts are currently homeworking due to the pandemic. Perth & Kinross Council are currently progressing with a hybrid working model offering access to office working on some days/when required. The Individual

You will hold or be eligible for full GTCS registration and have recent experience of supporting children or young people with additional support needs in an education setting.

You will have a passion for delivering improved outcomes for children and young people and inclusive education in schools.

You will be a skilled communicator and have experience staff development and training, and building capacity in a school setting.

You will have knowledge and understanding of Curriculum for Excellence and current education priorities; and have knowledge and understanding of the ASL Act and related legislation.
