Pertemps Thames Water Looking for Lead Project Engineer at Isleworth Full Time

What you’ll be doing
As Lead Project Engineer, you will be required to manage a portfolio of engineering projects from the initial concept, through to commissioning and handover to the client. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, as well as take the lead on developing solutions and ensuring solutions are implemented to the required standards. Support the Delivery Managers to review project scopes, project documentation and CAPEX budgets as part of regular audits. Provide regular follow up on the status of projects to key stakeholders and drive any required mitigation plans to achieve both cost and timescales.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer that has managed multiple projects from start to finish. Able to provide a supporting role for other project engineers and team members. You will need to be competent, articulate, numerical and commercially minded. Your key duties will include:

• Health & Safety management for your portfolio of projects and additional projects that you are supporting
• Produce project documents and provide guidance/support to other members of the team to do this
• Assessing tender responses and conduct comprehensive tender reviews
• Financial management
• Programme management
• Technical assurance
• Communication with key stakeholders/customers
• Ensure all asset data is captured and updated at the end of a project

• This is a Full-Time position
• Based out of Twickenham (Mogden) but will be required to travel to other smaller operational sites within a 30-mile radius
• 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday

  
We’re looking for you to

• Demonstrate a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Have good knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
• Have good knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of project delivery
• Hold at least a HND in mechanical, electrical, chemical or civil engineering or demonstrate the relevant experience
• Have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety and CDM 2015

• Have experience in managing end to end engineering projects
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Work unsupervised (where required) and use your own initiative
• Supervise and support other members of the team
