About the role
As a Sewer Adoptions Engineer, you will be technically assessing and managing the adoption of new sewerage systems, sewer diversions and pre-planning enquiries. Working both independently and collaboratively within the Adoptions team, you will be building strong relationships and liaising with customers, developers, consultants, legal representatives, and internal departments.
You will take ownership and be the first point of contact for the customer and enquiries following their applications, whilst also ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything we do as well as ensuring our assets are protected.
This is a part-time role working up to 24 hours. The role is to work 3 days per week which will need to include Monday and Tuesday.

Working collaboratively within an established team, you will have exposure to a wide variety of stakeholders including contractors and suppliers. You will be dealing daily with Local Authorities, major housebuilders and designers/consultants which provides opportunities to enhance and build long-lasting relationships and build your reputation as an expert in the field.
