Tutor/Assessor (Short Courses)
Salary- up to £28,000

Monday- Thursday 08:30-16:00, Friday 08:30-12:30

Our client is a leading training provider that delivers high-quality apprenticeship training programs to a range of businesses within the manufacturing sector. They are currently seeking a tutor/ assessor to cover AEB short courses in various disciplines, including Pre-employment training, Literacy, and Business Improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a caseload of AEB learners and ensure that their training needs are met and assessed to meet the requirements of AEB funding bodies.
• Monitor learner’s progression ensuring assessment for each element of their learning is completed enabling learners to meet achievement targets for all parts of their programme on time.
• Prepare, adapt, organise and maintain learning resources and/or equipment
• Liaise with Awarding Bodies, IQA, EQA and Quality Manager.
• To maintain records to track learner achievement and performance

Requirements:

• Relevant industry experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Business Improvement Techniques
• Hold a recognised Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1) or be willing to work towards
• Hold a L4 Teaching Qualification or equivalent
• Have experience of delivering and assessing vocational training
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively
