A leading Global Engineering Consultants situated in Norwich are looking to recruit a HR Officer to join their small team.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment processes of the organisation under the guidance of the HR Manager and the Group Talent Acquisition Manager. The HR Officer will run the day too day recruitment activities assisting managers in the initial stages of the process.
You will be expected to execute Recruitment and HR administrative tasks with diligence, accuracy and discretion to ensure effective and efficient support to the technical teams. After provided training, they will be required to work autonomously on a variety of assigned tasks, and as part of the HR team of three people.
This role will provide excellent opportunity for professional development and growth. The HR Officer will get involved in supporting the HR Manager in managing various employment Law topics, employee relation issues, staff benefit sand employment contracts
Key Tasks
” Leading the Recruitment process under the HR Manager’s supervisor
” Liaising with the marketing department to advertise vacancies on company’s website
” Managing several vacancies simultaneously from start to finish on company’s LinkedIn account
” Maintaining accurate records on company’s HR and Recruitment databases
” Assisting line managers with initial screening and filtering of applicants’ CVs
” Drafting job descriptions and job advertisements with line managers’ guidance
” Scheduling interviews and meetings; providing feedback to candidates
” Helping the HR Manager with general HR administration and issuing Recruitment correspondence when required
” Other relevant HR or Recruitment administration duties as and when required
” Technical Ability and skills
” Capable of drafting job descriptions following guidelines
” Able of following instructions and implementing policies
Experience Required/skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package: Word, Outlook, and MS Teams (Advanced user)
Good knowledge of MS Excel (Intermediate user)
” Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
” Excellent internal and external customer service skills
” Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and build relationships with senior managers.

Education/Essential /Desirable /requirements
” Educated to Degree level (Degree in Human Resources, Law or similar
” CIPD Level 3 (Desirable)
” Minimum of 2 years Recruitment and HR Officer experience and ideally from professional services or the private sector
If you have previous experience in the energy/technical
sector this would be an advantage
This is a fantastic company to work for who really value and look after their staff, this is an urgent requirement where we can organise interviews immediately
You must be happy to go into there London Office at least twice per month also Training will take place in London , all expenses paid .
This company will also fully support further CIPD studies
