Our client, a manufacturing company in Fife has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward looking HR professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR, with strong generalist background, ideally gained in a stand-alone role. Experience of providing HR services gained within manufacturing or FMCG sector would be advantageous.

Job Description

You will be knowledgeable in employment law and have experience of developing and successfully implementing HR policies and procedures and have proven experience of managing change and development programmes. The successful candidate will also have experience of recruitment and selection, absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance management, employee life cycle, appraisal, onboarding, compensation and benefits and delivery of training and associated record keeping and compliance.

Skills required include:

• Excellent communication skills and effectively dealing with staff at all levels.
• Results orientated, resilient and highly motivated
• Proficient in use of MS packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong customer outlook
• Previous experience of processing a monthly payroll is desirable
• CIPD qualified or relevant experience
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• Able to influence and guide the senior management team on best practice, people management issues and risk mitigation

This will be a permanent role with salary to be discussed if successful for an interview.
