Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out engineering duties for sub-assembly production fitting and final assembly.
• Skilfully assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Collaborate on the production and construction of fabricated assemblies of varying sizes and complexity, employing techniques such as marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending, weld joint preparation, hydraulic runs, pneumatic runs, and general production build assemblies.
• Adhere strictly to the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Show flexibility by undertaking additional tasks as required by the company.

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Mechanical Fitter:

• Strong background in engineering.
• Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly drawings.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
• Skilled in utilizing a diverse range of hand and power tools for the assembly of both large and small fabricated components.
• Thoroughly inspect assemblies for proper alignment, dimensions, and overall quality.
• Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a logical mindset.
• Knowledge of circuitry related to pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrics.
• Prior exposure to the Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar industries is considered a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical assembly and the ability to read electrical circuit drawings would be beneficial.

Junior Mechanical Fitter:

• Background in engineering.
• Proficiency in working with manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly drawings.
• Keen eye for detail and strong teamwork capabilities.
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools for the assembly of fabricated components.
• Conduct comprehensive quality checks on completed assemblies, ensuring alignment, dimensions, and overall quality meet requirements.
• Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting will be advantageous.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a logical approach to tasks.
• Knowledge of circuitry related to pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrics would be desirable.
• Exposure to the Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar industries is considered favourable.
• While not essential, some basic knowledge of electrical assembly and the ability to interpret electrical circuit drawings would be an added asset.
