As part of our Intern summer intake 2022 we are looking for an Intern to join our Software Engineering team for a 12-month placement starting any time between now and Summer!

Perspectum is looking to a software engineering intern to join our established Engineering group. As an intern you will be based within our software quality assurance group which will give you a broad overview of the end-to-end software development lifecycle. In this role you will be allocated to an existing self-functional team and challenged to ensure the usability, usefulness, and functional quality of the application in question is appropriate given the use case.

You will contribute to software test activities as part of a self-organising team including, but not limited to Test preparation (scoping, preparation, scheduling), Test execution (system, acceptance, and exploratory testing) and Test closure (documentation, lessons learnt). As part of a boarder Engineering team, you will also take on tasks allocated in relation to software development, cloud application and infrastructure management, technical business analysis and product management as well as technical support and operational monitoring.

This role requires a logical and problem identification focused approach. Therefore, there is no requirement for deep technical knowledge but an interest and a desire to secure a role within the software engineering industry is of paramount importance

An assessment day will commence in the Spring of 2022 with a view to start any time from then until Summer for a 12-month placement. Hours are full time based in our Oxford Headquarters with hybrid working flexibilities. We are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role.
