We are partnering with an esteemed manufacturing business based in Salisbury to find a dedicated Production Supervisor who can lead, oversee, and optimise their production processes. You may already be in a supervisory position or be an experienced team leader ready for the next step in your career. 

In this pivotal role as a Production Supervisor, you will be ensuring that production operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with the Production Manager and the production team to achieve and exceed production targets.

As a Production Supervisor, your primary duties will involve prioritizing workloads to meet the Production Manager’s directives.as well as:

• You will schedule new work orders, giving preference to urgent requirements, to keep the production line flowing smoothly.
• Your role will be instrumental in maintaining on-time delivery of products while upholding the highest quality standards.
• You will play a critical part in inspecting completed work orders to confirm they meet quality standards.
• Collaborating with the Quality Department to resolve production quality issues will be one of your key tasks.
• Responsible for coordinating production rejects and addressing any returned product concerns by working closely with Customer Services and the Quality Department.

Other Duties:

• To provide cover on the production line as needed or during busy periods.
• ing late deliveries and production issues to the Production Manager and documenting the actions taken to address them.
• Overseeing assembly and testing procedures for all products.
• Maintaining machines and tooling to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
• Training new and existing staff in production procedures.
• Efficiently managing staff and holidays to ensure on-time production jobs.
• Strict adherence to the company’s terms and conditions of employment.

Prior experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment is essential as well as strong problem-solving and leadership skills. We’re also ideally looking for
