Our client is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services across all industry sectors including education, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport and mining in Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced Systems and Management Accountant to support the Finance Team. Reporting to the GM of Finance, you will facilitate the Management in making informed decisions through the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, Paint estimating tools, and supporting the implementation of Microsoft D365.

This position is for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide assistance to the business in the use and application of the accounting systems to meet business objectives
• Project Managing – Paint Estimating Tools
• Job Costing, WIP analysis and Revenue recognition accounting
• Identify sources of technical or reporting issues and make recommendations for solutions or improvements
• Understand financial and operational datasets with an ability to define appropriate business rules to support analytical requirements
• Perform quality assurance on reporting solutions – test cases, conduct testing, identify gaps and implement fault resolution

Role Requirements:

• Relative degree and experience as a Systems / Management Accountant
• Accounting Project Management experience
• ERP Data Migration experience
• D365 exposure (desirable)
• Advanced Excel Skills (Power BI, Macros, Pivots)
