Our client is a reputed Japanese MNC company and provides a friendly working environment, culture and people oriented. They are currently seeking for a Human Resource Manager to join in their Sydney office team.

About the role

• Manage and performs the daily routine functions of the Human Resource department including but not limited to payroll calculation and management; hiring and interviewing staff performance, compensation, benefits and leave; maintain personnel policies and regulatory compliance, OHS; support training and development; enforcing company policies and practice.
• Responsible for HR strategy planning and programs execution
• Implement and identify ways to improve employee policies and procedures
• Maintains compliance and knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, reviews policies and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5 years or above in HR Generalist experience
• Multitasking with strong time management, planning and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills and Japanese speaking is high advantage.
• Expertise in HR policies and procedures
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with MS Office suite
