Persimmon Homes North Midlands are looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Accounts Clerk to join the team in our busy accounts department based in Leicester. The role will be varied, but involves processing financial transactions such as invoices and payments through our finance system. The successful candidate will also be required to deal with payment and account reconciliation enquiries by telephone and email, plus any other finance administration duties required to support the team. The role is an ideal first step for somebody interested in a career in accounting and finance.


Qualifications/Experience

No prior experience is required as full training will be given. Educated to GCSE or equivalent level including Grade C or higher in English and Mathematics.


Skills

Strong numeracy and a good all round knowledge of standard Windows applications is desirable. The successful applicant will need to be organised, versatile and willing to work to deadlines.
