The Role
Our Customer Experience team is seeking a self-driven Customer Education Specialist to plan, develop, and maintain platform documentation and other pieces of educational content for Persefoni’s customers. You will work alongside Persefoni’s Customer Experience, Product, and Product Marketing teams to help build a content strategy that empowers Persefoni customers to achieve their carbon and sustainability goals.
You’ll play a key role in the creation and execution of Persefoni’s self-service customer experience, which allows Persefoni to reach new markets and customers overlooked by current carbon accounting education offerings.
This is a highly collaborative and creative role, which requires excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Customer Education Specialists must be proficient in translating technical subjects into easily understood language and must be comfortable creating branded content that adheres to Persefoni’s style guide. Additionally, experience creating narrated video content is preferred.

How You’ll Know You’re on the Right Track
You will be able to articulate how Persefoni incorporates carbon accounting standards and sustainability reporting frameworks within our platform in your first 3 months.
You will have a deep understanding of the Persefoni platform and will be able to effectively communicate its value propositions within the first 3 months.
You will understand Persefoni’s customer’s journey and its associated pain points and will be able to communicate best practices to alleviate friction within your first 3 months.
You will be publishing platform documentation on a weekly basis that ensures our customer’s adoption and utilization of Persefoni within your first 3 months.
Responsibilities
Plan, create, and edit platform documentation for Persefoni’s Help Center.
Maintain Help Center content to ensure that the information is relevant and up-to-date.
Cross-functionally collaborates with other teams to identify gaps in our content strategy, customer touch points, and Help Center.
Create and maintain narrated videos for Persefoni’s Help Center.
Assist in building and driving process, change management, and operational efficiencies within the Customer Experience organization.
Make content recommendations that will positively impact Persefoni’s Customer Experience
Provide feedback on the Persefoni platform, and contribute to customer-facing in-app guidance (tooltips, walkthroughs, etc).
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of Product Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Success, Technical Writing, or other relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
Experience working with SaaS products
Self-starter and ability to own projects from initial question development to rollout
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience and comfort creating narrated video content
Comfortable in a fast-paced, global team
Experience in ESG performance, sustainability management, or environmental consulting is a plus
