Perr&Knight is seeking a Finance Assistant who will provide support in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the Finance department to accomplish the organization’s business objectives. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and can multi-task.

What You’ll be Doing

• Batching and entering vendor invoices, scanning and electronically filing the vendor paid invoices accurately
• Sending collection emails to customers and project managers at the designated follow-up dates
• Documenting collection activities in Quickbooks
• Processing check requests from the Regulatory Compliance Department
• Processing EFT requests from the Regulatory Compliance Unit
• Matching payments with customer invoices
• Updating daily receivables reconciliation report
• Creating expense reports as needed
• Data entry, scanning and copying
• Assist in the different stages of asset management cycle
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field
• One or more years of accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of Office 365, QuickBooks and BillQuick
• Proficiency at scheduling and prioritizing work and deliverables to meet deadlines
• Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pace and time-sensitive environment
• Discretion and confidentiality are an absolute must
