HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Position Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
• Position Pay: $26.00 HR + $80.00 Per Diem (If Applicable)
• Position Type: Construction
• $80.00 Daily Per-Diem Available If Outside Of Position Area
• Work Hours: M-F 7:00 AM -5:30 PM | Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description:

Heavy equipment operators will be responsible for operating various types of equipment in a safe and effective manner.

The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience operating Excavators and Skid Steers.

Heavy Equipment Operator Job Duties:

• Operate and maneuver heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Perform routine inspections on equipment
• Always observe safety codes while operating equipment
• Inspect equipment before operating to ensure it’s in working order
• Monitor performance and adjust settings
• Fill out performance records to equipment issues
• Track maintenance, and alert supervisors when maintenance is due
• Other duties as requested by supervisors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to operating heavy equipment
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain stationary in seats while operating equipment for prolonged periods
• Basic writing skills to accurately complete s, logs, etc.
