Title: Finance and Business Associate

Location: Atlanta, GA

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Finance and Business Associate will handle the “day to day” Finance and Business Administration functions for the firm. The position requires reporting to and assisting Perigon’s Chief Financial Officer with executive level finance activities. The position requires hands-on work in several areas, as well as managing and collaborating with multiple partners.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Perigon Wealth Management is a rapidly growing independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in San Francisco, CA. Perigon has averaged 54% revenue growth over the past 5 years. We manage approximately $3.3 billion in client assets as a fee-only fiduciary. In addition to our headquarters in San Francisco, we have offices in Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Georgia and South Florida with plans for significant near-term growth and expansion into new markets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage regularly occurring Finance and Accounting activities, including Payroll, Client Billing,
• Vendor and Contractor Payments, Invoice Management, Purchasing and Expense Management, and division P&L management
• Collaborate with Perigon’s accounting firm and record keeper to maintain appropriate records for the purpose of filing tax returns, state registrations and financial reporting to the firm’s management team
• Assist the CFO with financial planning, including creating budgets, reporting on actual results, and generating financial analysis reporting as needed
• Assist the CFO with ad-hoc requests for Financial Analysis (i.e. mergers and acquisitions, office openings, etc)

• Administer Perigon’s benefits plans, including collaboration with our benefits administrators and assisting Perigon employees with benefits related issues
• Work with CFO and COO to implement process changes and improve operational efficiency in the Finance and Business Administration department
• Provide support to strategic projects that require input from the Finance department
• Proactively develop and institute process improvements and workflows to the current system

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, Finance or Accounting preferred
• Familiarity with multiple entity reporting and recordkeeping systems such as QuickBooks online and other bill pay and expense tracking systems
• Minimum of 5 years business experience, with a broad exposure to different finance functions
• Experiences in the Financial Services industry, Wealth Management / RIA experience preferred
• Experience with client billing in a Financial Services / Client Services business
• Experience preferred with a data aggregation system such as Orion, Black Diamond, Addepar or Envestnet

• Excellent written & verbal communication; able to articulately deliver presentations to senior management
• Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Willing to be hands-on through daily activities and give clear, constructive & actionable feedback
• Ability to work independently to meet requirements with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
