Performance Foodservice, PFG’s broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

This position is in-office located in Augusta, Maine – it is not a remote position.
We are looking for someone who is a mover & shaker – that doesn’t take no for an answer. Someone who excels in talking to people in public situations, who can build networking contacts to ensure that Performance Foodservice is an employer of choice in New England.
Responsible for recruitment process; point person for recruitment outreach to various entities, sourcing candidates; prepare position requisitions, coordinate employment advertising and conduct phone screens. Work directly with hiring managers and Corporate Recruiting staff.
This is an exempt position, DOE range $50,000 – $60,000 + bonus potential
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3-5 Years of full cycle recruiting experience across multiple types of positions – office based, warehouse based and transportation based.
Exceptional interviewing, communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and associated compliance.
Experience using a variety of recruiting sources to include job boards and social media.
General understanding of compensation and benefits.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the company to include senior leadership.
Strong business acumen.

Experience recruiting in foodservice or distribution
