Perdoceo Education Corporation Hiring for Course Development Project Manager – Perdoceo Education Corporation Job at Remote Full Time

This job exists to manage the process of course development workflow to ensure that all timelines for student launch are met while maintaining quality assurances and guidelines for delivery based on Academic learning models, team goals and initiatives. Project Managers will also manage 4-8 team members for their individual growth and development. This position coordinates with all other project managers and team members to ensure that courses are accurate and complete and delivered on scheduled timelines, completes Academic requests for changes to course content, and develops team efficiencies for creation of course content while employing improved processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge of all Course Development processes, adaptive and non-adaptive tools, and software employed for all steps of the developmental process.
• Complete knowledge of all programs in development (and expertise of content area programs) and the status of all courses within these programs as well as upcoming programs.
• Manage workflow balance throughout the developmental process with other project managers to ensure that all courses are complete and accurate prior to content review timelines.
• Maintain tracker and reporting status on all courses in development.
• Coordinate course materials including textbooks, assessments, digital assets, video or audio production, etc. with Academics, SMEs, and team members. This includes hiring SMEs and assigning course workloads to Instructional Designers.
• Resolve Academic requests pertaining to course content weekly and pertaining to all Academic requests with weekend call responsibilities.
• Manage non-course projects and Course Development enhancements.
• Communicate with clear, professional, thorough messages with Academics, Web, IT Support, and PEC teams as well as all team members and managers to facilitate information, processes, requests, and solutions.
• Focus on improving team productivity through creation of templates, processes, and tools that allow all team members to use on a regular basis to decrease production time of course materials.
• Focus on improving and growing team members through Individual Development Plans, a training plan, and ongoing mentorship.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• The ability to efficiently schedule, maintain, and track the workflow of development for multiple programs at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with several team members and collaborate and conduct meetings with academic leadership.
• Strong problem-solving skills, project management skills, and time management skills.
• Leader who is forward-thinking and productively efficient.
• Computer efficiency in Microsoft Office software, Learning Content Management System application, maintaining tracker software, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Continual learning of new material, software, and processes.

Education and Experience: Minimum

• Bachelor degree in education, instructional design, project management, IT, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of course design experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of communicating, collaborating, and conducting meetings with academic leadership teams
• A strong course design style including experience producing creative solutions within an aggressive time schedule
• An ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to think creatively and conceptually to understand instructional needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-starter, flexible, and detail-oriented 24/7, results-oriented environment
