Perceptor Hiring for Group Assistant Accountant | Large ASX Job at Sydney Full Time

Large ASX listed business has gone from strength to strength in the past few years. This business boasts high calibre Executive Leadership team that provide clear strategic insight and engage hands-on with the business.

This Assistant Accountant will report to an impressive Group Finance Manager and get exposure to senior standers while developing their technical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly consolidated results, including corporate journal entries and reconciliations/analysis
• Support the Group Financial accountant in the delivery of group half-year and full-year ASX reporting including financial statement preparation
• Preparation of supporting information for the half-year and year-end results
• Assisting with external auditor questions and requests
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting
• Preparation of fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Ah hoc reporting and analysis

Key criteria to be considered:

• University degree in accounting.
• CA or CPA qualified or studying towards.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Good clear communication skills are critical
• Be able to work autonomously with a degree of independence.
