The Role
The Senior Finance Analyst will be joining our well-knit Finance team as we prepare to scale and work towards our new, strategic, and exciting phase of growth. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be joining a motivated team that is passionate about numbers and leveraging it to improve and re-imagine Pepperstone’s business. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the coordination and the efficient management of Group data and accounts to ensure high integrity of the financial and management information required for reporting and decision making.

Skills & Experience
Your days will include, but not limited to:

• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting and GL, FA register & improving controls
• Assisting with treasury, data mining & analysis and liaising with external auditors
• Proactively contributing to automate and streamline accounting practices
• Initiating collaboration across tasks and the team to minimise risk and errors
• Maintaining consistent high quality work outcomes
• Demonstrating Pepperstone’s values as a leader to more junior team members by mentoring or leading junior finance team members as required
• Managing payment provider reconciliation process and facilitate accurate and timely month end close procedures

To be successful, you will have:

• CA/CPA qualified and 5 + years’ experience with knowledge of IFRS
• Ability to effectively meet tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Microsoft product skills in Word and Excel and competency with Google suite

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and willingness to learn new processes and embrace new ideas
• Excellent communication skills across all mediums and levels of stakeholders and management
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to priorities across multiple areas of responsibility
