The Role
Our new Finance Analyst will be joining our well-knit Finance team as we prepare to scale and work towards our new, strategic, and exciting phase of growth. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be joining a motivated team that is passionate about numbers and leveraging it to improve and re-imagine Pepperstone’s business. In this role, you will be pivotal in processing and reconciling data in multiple systems, ensuring our systems and reporting are robust and up-to-the-minute, in order to support the volume of data and real-time information requests from within the business.

Skills & Experience*
Your days will include, but not limited to:

• Ensuring integrity of financial data by performing reconciliations of third-party payment provider accounts
• Accurate data entry and managing a high volume of transactions every day
• Reconciling daily bank accounts for multiple currencies and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with client money reporting and client funds excess analysis and month-end closing procedures
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and assisting in liaising with external auditors and treasury
• Providing insights into payment provider cash requirements and performance
• Ad-hoc support to team members

To be successful, you will have:

• Excellent attention to detail with analytical, reconciliation and overall troubleshooting skills
• Excellent Microsoft product skills in Word and Excel and competency with Google suite
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within the company
• Preferred Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant qualification
