Immediate hire for a certified operator OR someone looking to start a career to work in our Howard County Regional Water contract located in New Franklin, MO. This facility has a total of 2 FT employees and 1 PT employee performing all aspects of the day-to-day operations to effectively produce water for Howard County residents.

This is an excellent opportunty to gain higher water certifications. PeopleService will provide the on-the-job training as well as pay to become a state certified water operator. The plant consists of 2 water production wells and a lime softening treatment plant. This is a fairly new treatment facility. Incumbents must be flexible with their work schedule to meet adequate water production.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Missouri water certification preferred BUT not required at time of hire.
• Experience in ground water treatment or a related water field helpful.
• Strong mechanical skills to repair related equipment such as pumps, blowers, etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing and a strong commitment to working as a team.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with board members, vendors, and regulatory body.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
