Your Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our effective and efficient finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and based in our Head Office in the Sydney CBD, this role offers variety and challenge.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month-end journals and finalisation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist in financial statement auditing
• Assist in tax reporting (direct and indirect taxes)
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable processes (supervision of junior team member)
• Adhoc reporting / financial analysis as and when required

Your Experience:
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and grow their current financial knowledge and skills, with experience in the following areas:

• CA / CPA qualification or currently underway to be a CA / CPA
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate level in Excel
• Preferred experience in Oracle Accounting System
