About the role.

This is a very exciting time to be a part of the PeoplePlus Justice Education team, to join us in our commitment to making learning not only accessible to all but to push the boundaries of innovation and technology available within prison education.

We are now looking to recruit for an Education Manager to lead and manage the Prison Education Framework to maximise contract performance, deliver quality provision and exceed the expectations of partners and learners in line with the company ethos of ‘Improving Peoples Lives’.

Have you got what it takes?

You should be motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for education. You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, and always want to be the best. You will need to be confident in managing curriculum development and have line management experience, including the ability to affect the performance of the teaching staff in ways which will improve learner outcomes. Due to the nature and scope of this role a driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.

Please note there are restrictions in place when working in a Secure Environment. Electronic items such as mobile phones or tablets are not permitted. Some prisons do not allow any money to be taken in. In that case, you exchange money for tokens which you can exchange for tea/coffee/food etc.
