An exciting opportunity as a Management Accountant to work with an established not-for-profit organisation that has been positively impacting lives for more than 60 years. You will play a significant role in managing annual operational finance objectives, annual budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide the business units with monthly financial reports, analysis, advice and insights into their financial performance and recommend corrective action where necessary
• Work closely with the Financial Accountant and business units to develop annual operating and project budgets in accordance with financial objectives
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, accounting standards and internal controls
• Contribute to the development of the consolidated annual budgets and quarterly reforecast and monthly and Annual Report and Financial Statements and provide support for the internal and external audits
• Work alongside with the Financial Accountant with the maintenance of the Finance system
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various business units to understand their work and their need for finance service

You will have:

• CA/CPA qualified and similar prior experience
• Strong business acumen with the ability to partner with functional managers to provide finance information, analysis, advice and recommendations
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly proficient use of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated experience using integrated finance systems
• A strong customer service focus and willingness to assist other members of the Finance team when required
